Games That Give

Games that give

The American Heart Association has joined GamesThatGive, a new Web site that generates money for charity when you play their free online games such as Solitaire, Bubble Burst, Gems , word Search, Blackjack, Smashteroids, Memory and Sudoku.

The more you play, the more revenue GamesThatGive will donate to the American Heart Association!

Heal My College

It’s important to create safe campus for everyone.  Abuse of drugs and alcohol hinder your college education.  Heal My College is a way to speak up, volunteer, and change your college for the better.

Create a Memorial or Tribute

We’ve all known someone who has suffered from heart problems.  It could be a grandparent who has died after a stroke, or a family history of heart disease.  The American Heart Association provides an opportunity for you to create a memorial of tribute to someone to raise awareness and funds to prevent these events from occurring.

Dear Neighbor

heartThe Dear Neighbor Campaign is a great way to volunteer.  All you have to do is mail prepared letters to your neighbors. The letters ask them to support the fight against America’s No.1 killer, cardiovascular disease.  Each volunteer kit contains easy-to-follow instructions with supplies to mail letters to everyone shown on the assignment card for your block. (You will receive everything you need to mail the letters except the stamps.) Donations are processed at a centralized bank, but are credited back to your area to benefit your local community.

To volunteer for your neighborhood call 1-800-464-7142  between Aug. 1st – Dec. 15th and they’ll provide all the details.
