College is an important time in your life when you are now in charge of your own education.  It is a transitional period from your teens into adulthood when you start making the difficult decisions about you want to do with your life.  It’s important to start making healthy habits now.  This may be the first time you are solely responsible for feeding yourself healthy, nourishing meals while also practicing safe food habits.  Too many students fall into a trend of bad eating habits which can lead to anything from and inability  to concentrate in class, to heart disease later in life.  Some students may come to college with cooking and nutritional skills, but for the rest it’s a learn as you go process.
